Nina Pivac

Nina is the director of Tohu Consulting and is qualified in planning and resource management, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Planning and a Bachelor of Applied Science. She is also an associate member of the New Zealand Planning Institute.

With over seven years of combined experience in the planning and resource management industry, Nina has worked closely with local Councils, central government, non-profit organisations and in the private sector. Her working experience has seen her processing a wide range of land use and subdivision resource consent applications on behalf of Whangarei and Far North District Councils, helping private landowners and developers to achieve resource consent for various forms of development, and delivering environmental services on behalf of the central government and non-profit organisations.

Through working in both the public and private sectors, Nina has developed a thorough understanding of Council and RMA processes, and an extensive professional network with whom Nina maintains great working relationships. This has placed her in the unique position of knowing exactly who to engage at the right time to get the results you need.

Having grown up in a small rural community north of Kaitaia, Nina is thrilled to return home where she looks forward to settling into the Far North lifestyle and sharing her skill set for the benefit of our community.
